Let’s see, after 12 hours in the ferry parking lot in Baku, 29 hours on the ferry (with 1 bowl of soup) & 9 hrs in customs in Turjmenbashy, we’ve set off with our guide & Team Saskatchewan, Hobo Logistics, & Skiplizards. We had the best omelette ever 4 breakfast & then FILLED the gas tanks for 75 cents US each! Seriously! The exchange rate is $1 = 23000 manat!

at 15:05 – Oh my gosh – Ashgabat!

A great day chilling in Ashgabat. Turkmenistan is by far our new favorite. After the market we came back to the hotel to cool off cus its HOT outside. Cory went to get an oil change where 2 great friendly teenagers did the work in exchange 4 energy drinks & gum! Everyone here is so friendly & generous. After that we went 2 the mall 4 dinner & groceries. A policeman helped us get a shared cab who wouldn’t let us pay! All b4 the 11 curfew.
